WHO: ELAINE ROGERS 2008-2009 Toastmasters International District 46 Governor, has been a member of Toastmasters for over 25 years, and represents Toastmasters International to the members of the 130 community and corporate clubs that serves members in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk. The district was founded 55 years ago. The diverse membership reflects the diversity of the people in the New York metropolitan area. Rogers earned a DTM (Distinguished Toastmasters) the highest educational designation awarded by Toastmasters International. She is an Assistant Vice President-Project Management at New York Life Insurance Company.

ABOUT: Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization, begun in 1924, now has nearly 235,000 members in 11,700 clubs in 92 countries. World leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience.
